Escalation paths

A failed check goes to a named person.

Set the path once. When an answer fails, Gearly finds the closest rule, emails the people on it, and keeps the failure open until someone resolves it.

  1. 01 · Fails

    7.2 °C

Cold room, limit 5 °C. It could also be a flagged answer or a date near expiry.

  2. 02 · Finds the rule

    Item at this outlet

    then the outlet

    then the checklist

    The most specific rule wins.

  3. 03 · Tells people

    Ops manager

    Outside

    Contractor

By email, the moment it fails.

  4. 04 · Acknowledged

    09:14

A supervisor takes it on, in UniOps or the console.

  5. 05 · Resolved

    11:02

Closed with a comment. Until then it stays open on the calendar.

Three levels of rule

One item at one outlet, a whole outlet, or a whole checklist.

Two lists

People to notify and approvers are kept apart.

Outside addresses

Item rules can also email a contractor or supplier.

Reminders that do the chasing.

  • Failed-check emails, as soon as an answer fails

  • Overdue-checklist emails for checks not done on time

  • Expiry reminders for scanned documents

  • Scheduled report emails

Proof, site by site.

  • A checklist calendar coloured by status, with detail and photos

  • Scheduled versus completed, by outlet

  • Responses, uploaded documents and vehicle profile reports

  • PDF output for any completed checklist

See where it goes.

We build one of your checks on demo data, fail it on purpose, and follow it from the alert to the fix.
